(1)Effective January 5, 2004, the NEW
Version 4.0 will be available for download.
(a)For Quotation users
This version is designed to allow
you to access the new
www.specselectonline.com or
www.specselectonline.ca website for product, pricing and cross
referencing information during the quotation process. (Note: This
information will ONLY be updated on the website from now on. No further
Web Updates will be provided for updating this information on your hard
drive.)
The actual quote process will
remain essentially the same as on version 3.0.
All quotes (existing and new) will
still be stored on your hard drive.
All customer information, system
preferences and My Custom Database information (existing and new) will
still be stored on your hard drive.
(b)For
Specification users
Version 4.0, in its initial format, will not have a specification report process
available, as this is currently undergoing changes to provide an enhanced
program later on in 2004.
(2)The NEW Version 4.0 will ONLY be
available as a tool for Delta employees (company and agency).
(3)Existing Version 3.0 users that are NOT Delta employees need to now use the www.specselectonline.com or www.specselectonline.ca website for all product and pricing information. However, for quotations or specifications, an alternate program must now be used.
